Coins and More is Veteran owned and was started in 2010. Coins and More was originally started as a part time business with one display case and almost no inventory. With the help of friends and family Coins and More quickly grew! We buy all coins, currency, gold and silver! Over the years we have been through many changes; most notably the building of the online auction!
About the Auction
As a collector, I knew all to well the limitations where I could buy and sell Coins/Currency/Gold/Silver. Short of Ebay or local coin shops there were no other options! I had the idea for an online auction that would deal specifically in collectibles and antiques. I approached OAS in late 2012 to pitch my idea and by March 2013 we had our first auction! Our auction is built off the simple and reliable platform that Miedema Auctions has used for years. That platform allowed Coins and More to tap into the 300,000 registered bidders already on Miedema's sites. Since the first auction we have grown both in the number of bidders as well as consignors!
How To Become A Consignor
We have over 1,000 consignors; both collectors and dealers. If you have collectibles you would like to put on our auction it is simple. Email or call and let us know you are looking to send us items. We will Email or fax a simple form for you to fill out and send with your items. The auction is every three weeks, always Wednesdays, and the cutoff for new items is the Tuesday prior to the auction. Coins and More prides itself on being a TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION!
The fees for the auction:
Listing fee is $3 per lot.
Consignment fee per lot: 20% up to $600, 15% $601-$1200 and 10% $1201 and up.
How To Become A Bidder
Becoming a bidder is easy, simply find a lot you would like to bid on and place your bid, it will ask you to sign in or register, click register and follow the simple directions, should take less then 3 minutes! Once registered you can pre-bid on all LOTS up until the day of the auction. At 8 am the day of the auction all pre-bids are calculated and high bids are then visible to the public. Every item starts at $3 and goes up in $2 and $3 bid increments. Lots end in 30 minute increments starting at 7PM. If a bid is placed in the last 10 minutes then the end time for that item is extended 10 minutes to prevent any "sniping". Upon winning any items you have the option to pay online or call Coins and More for shipping quotes and we can run your credit card on file. We do ship worldwide!!
